Service Description

DermaSkin training is an accredited VTCT school. Duration: 4 consecutive Sundays from 10.00am till 4.00pm Salon dress. Class delivery is a mix of theory & practical. You will be required to work on other candidates in your group. You will be required to bring models for the VTCT assessments. Successful completion of the course includes the AB40163 VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments 500/9034/3 Price includes VTCT ROA book & qualification fee of £96.00. You will be required to undertake VTCT range statements & produce any supporting underpinning knowledge, in line with VTCT's requirements. Failure to do so may result in your qualification outcome being delayed or not achieved at all. The course covers: · Health & safety (core of knowledge) regarding use of IPL & LASERS · A & P regarding the above topic · Risk Assessments · Consultation, medication and contra-actions · Skin types · History of LASERS & IPL · IPL wavelengths & uses · LASER uses · Difference between IPL and LASER · Hair removal covering range requirements, in accordance with VTCT · Skin rejuvenation, to include photo aging, vascular and pigmentation, in accordance with VTCT · Patch Testing · Case studies · HR treatments & SR treatments · Client record keeping · Use of other modalities with LASER & IPL · Post care
